  • Boxing gloves

When buying your boxing gloves, there are several important factors you need to consider.

1- What are ounces in boxing gloves?

An ounce is a unit of weight that determines how much padding a boxing glove has. The heavier the gloves, the more padding they contain and, consequently, the greater protection for your hands.

Choosing the right ounce size is very important to optimize and focus your training and to prevent injuries.

2- Which ounce size should I choose?

It is very important to understand that boxing gloves are not sized according to hand size, as many people believe. The most important factor to consider is the ounces. Below, we provide some advice to help you choose the best option.

When buying your first pair of boxing gloves, you should mainly consider your body weight.

4 oz (113.40 g) and 6 oz (170.09 g) gloves are for children. The choice depends on the child’s weight and size.

8 oz (226.79 g) gloves are for heavier children or youth.

10 oz (283.49 g) gloves can be used in several cases:

    • Amateur competition (front padding, also used in professional contexts)

    • Speed and precision training with heavy bags, focus mitts, or Muay Thai pads

    • Beginner women under 60 kg

    • Beginner youth under 60 kg

    12 oz (340.19 g) gloves:

    • Daily beginner training for body weight between 60–68 kg

    • Speed and precision training for intermediate or advanced levels

    14 oz (396.89 g) gloves:

    • Daily beginner training for body weight between 68–80 kg

    • Daily training and hard sparring for intermediate and advanced levels

    16 oz (453.59 g) gloves:

    • Daily training and sparring for intermediate and advanced levels

    • Training and sparring for beginners weighing over 80 kg

18 oz (510.29 g) and 20 oz (566.29 g) gloves are the heaviest. They are usually used by very heavy fighters or for specific training sessions.

3- Benefits of training with heavier gloves (more ounces)

    • Greater protection for hands and knuckles

    • Better absorption of impact vibration

    • More protection for your training partner due to extra padding

    • Improves muscle toning

    • Develops power and physical conditioning

4- Factors to consider when selecting ounces

    • At beginner level, body weight is the key factor.

    • At intermediate and advanced levels, in addition to body weight, consider:

    1. Experience – As punching technique improves, punches are delivered with greater force (you may need heavier gloves than when you bought your first pair).

    2. Type of training – Heavier gloves for power training; lighter gloves for speed and precision.

    3. Specific coach request – For particular training sessions.

5- What are boxing gloves made of?

The outer part of boxing gloves can be made of natural leather or synthetic leather.

The most commonly used natural leather is buffalo leather. The highest quality (and most expensive) is cowhide. Synthetic materials come in many different quality levels.

Leather is more durable but takes longer to adapt to the shape of the hand. Synthetic gloves, which are recommended for beginners, are more comfortable and better fitting at first.

The interior is usually made of foam layers, and depending on their shock absorption capacity, they are considered higher or lower quality. Stitching quality is very important, as good finishing and strong thread guarantee greater durability.

Boxing gloves also include a moisture-wicking inner lining to prevent sweat from reaching the inner foam.

Closures can be lace-up or Velcro. For daily training, Velcro is recommended for comfort and practicality. Lace-up gloves provide a tighter fit but require another person to help put them on and take them off.

All gloves include thumb protection connecting the thumb area to the main body of the glove.

6- Are there differences between boxing gloves and Muay Thai gloves? Are different gloves used depending on the discipline?

The answer is no. There are no specific Muay Thai, kickboxing, or boxing gloves. For example, you can use Thai Twins gloves for boxing or Charlie gloves for kickboxing.

However, there are differences in the glove mold, which determines how the padding is distributed. Some gloves have a longer, more rounded shape, commonly used in Muay Thai because they make clinching easier. Others have a wider, flatter striking surface, typically preferred by boxers.

Other factors that influence glove choice include cuff length (short or long) and the type of closure (single Velcro, double Velcro, or lace-up).

Ultimately, as a person gains experience, they choose the model that best suits their training style or discipline.

7- Which boxing gloves should I buy as a beginner?

Our advice is to start with boxing gloves that offer excellent value for money — affordable but with good-quality inner padding and durable synthetic outer material. For example, on our website you can find Utuk boxing gloves or the Buddha entry-level range.

8- Recommendations and maintenance of boxing gloves

    • Never leave your gloves inside your gym bag after training. It is very important to air them out as soon as you get home. The sooner you take them out, the sooner the sweat inside will dry. Make sure they are not exposed to direct sunlight and avoid humid places. This prevents sweat from being absorbed into the padding. NEVER LEAVE THEM IN CLOSED SPACES SUCH AS A GYM BAG.

    • For exterior care, if they are leather gloves, you can use leather conditioner or moisturizing cream.

    • Always use CLEAN boxing hand wraps. Besides protecting your hands and wrists, they absorb sweat. Hand wraps do not need to be machine washed; simply rinse them in the sink, wring them out, and let them dry.

    • DO NOT WASH GLOVES IN A WASHING MACHINE.

    • Do not use your training gloves while wearing rings, chains, or watches.

    • When you have used your gloves for a long time and start feeling your knuckles or wrist discomfort, it is time to replace them.

Finally, if you have any doubts, seek advice from a professional who knows the equipment. Remember that in our online store we offer a wide variety of models and will be happy to help you choose. You can also find more detailed information about boxing gloves on our blog.

  • Boxing shorts

Within boxing apparel, there are two items that are very important when it comes to optimizing training or competition.

These two items are boxing boots and boxing shorts.

    FEATURES OF BOXING SHORTS

Boxing shorts have very specific characteristics that differentiate them from MMA shorts and Muay Thai shorts:

    • Wide waistband: with an elastic band inside for an optimal fit.

    • Wide cut and knee-length design.

    • Breathable or lightweight fabric that allows easy footwork and movement.

    • Simple, understated designs.

ARE THERE BOXING SHORTS FOR WOMEN AND MEN, OR ARE THEY UNISEX?

In general, boxing shorts are unisex, so it’s important to carefully check the size and cut that each brand offers.

CAN YOU BUY A MATCHING SET OF BOXING SHORTS AND A BOXING TANK TOP?

There are brands such as Charlie and Leone that offer reversible boxing competition sets (blue and red), which can also be used for training.

You can also mix and match boxing shorts with boxing training tops separately.

    AVAILABLE SIZES

Available sizes typically include XS, S, M, L, and XL.

Keep in mind that European brands usually follow standard European sizing. However, if you are considering American brands, make sure to check whether they use US or European sizing. US sizing tends to run larger. The same applies to brands from the United Kingdom.

    RECOMMENDED BOXING SHORTS BRANDS

    • Leone – Modern cut and exclusive designs. The brand sponsors fighters worldwide.

    • Charlie – Classic and traditional designs. Sponsors competitors at the European level.

  • Boxing boots

1 – DEFINITION OF BOXING BOOTS

Boxing boots are a type of sports footwear specifically designed for training or competing in boxing.

They are made from lightweight and breathable materials, offering boxers an ideal combination of support, comfort, and mobility, optimizing training and helping to prevent injuries.

2 – DIFFERENCES BETWEEN BOXING BOOTS AND OTHER SPORTS FOOTWEAR

Boxing boots usually feature thin, non-slip rubber soles that provide excellent grip in the ring, with a sole pattern that facilitates movement. This helps prevent slipping during fast, explosive movements and reduces the risk of ankle and knee injuries.

Running shoes or indoor soccer shoes have the disadvantage of being very light and too flat, which can overload the muscles, inflame tendons, and put joints at risk.

3 – TYPES OF BOXING BOOTS

Boxing boots are specialized footwear used by boxers with very specific features as described above. However, there is one particular characteristic that differentiates them, with its own pros and cons:

High boxing boots – These are the classic style and usually cover almost the entire calf. Their main advantage is that they provide the best ankle support. However, they can be uncomfortable, especially at first until they adapt to the foot. The process of lacing and unlacing to adjust them can also be laborious and time-consuming.

Mid-cut boxing boots – These are the boxing boots we recommend. They cover just above the ankle and maintain a balance between comfort and security.

Low boxing boots – These models cover up to the ankle. They are usually lighter and more fitted than the other two options. In our opinion, they offer less support than mid-cut boots. On the positive side, they can also be used as wrestling boots.

4 – TIPS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING YOUR BOXING BOOTS

    ·         Do not compromise on manufacturing quality and design, as this is important for preventing overload and injuries.

    ·         Shoe size: We recommend choosing one size up in boxing or wrestling footwear, leaving a small amount of space to prevent the big toe from hitting the front area when pivoting.

    ·         Wear thick socks to improve the fit of the boxing boot and enhance breathability.

    ·         Avoid using running or indoor soccer shoes to prevent muscle overload.

5 – WHERE TO BUY CHILDREN’S BOXING BOOTS?

Children’s boxing boots are made with the same quality and design as adult boxing boots, but with small details that make them different. The last is usually slightly narrower, and in addition to laces, they often include a Velcro strap for adjustment.

Not all brands produce smaller sizes, but on our website www.clubdelalucha.eu you can find models that can adapt to the needs of younger athletes.

    6 – TRUSTED MANUFACTURING BRANDS

Worldwide, several brands are constantly working to improve the quality, design, and performance of boxing boots. In our boxing store, we aim to offer a varied selection, seeking a balance between quality and price.

We have been working for several years with Adidas boxing boots, which stand out for their quality and variety, offering different models and price ranges (also promoting the sale of wrestling boots).

Another interesting option is Leone boxing boots, which introduce new models to their catalog every year, standing out for both quality and design.

If you are looking for traditional boxing boots with a classic cut, you should consider Charlie boxing boots. They offer discreet designs with high quality at an affordable price.

We also cannot overlook Buddha boxing boots, which are entering the market strongly with innovative designs and a last that fits the foot very well.

  • Boxing t-shirts
  • Bag gloves

What Are Bag Gloves and What Are They Used For?

Bag gloves are a specific type of protection used for hitting a boxing bag. They are characterized by having less padding than standard boxing gloves, offering less protection.

    Use of Bag Gloves

    ·        Hitting the heavy bag for precision and speed training.

    ·        Power and technique training on the heavy bag for intermediate or advanced practitioners. At Club de la Lucha, we always recommend using boxing gloves for power training.

    ·        Precision and speed training with focus mitts or Muay Thai pads.

Can Bag Gloves Be Used for Sparring or Partner Training?

Bag gloves are NOT recommended for sparring or partner training.

Because they have very little padding, they can cause injuries to your training partner as well as to your own hands and wrists.

Should You Use Hand Wraps with Bag Gloves?

You should ALWAYS use boxing hand wraps when using striking protection, whether bag gloves or boxing gloves.

What Size Should I Choose When Buying Bag Gloves?

Unlike boxing gloves, which are sized in ounces, bag gloves are sized according to hand size. They typically come in sizes M-L or XL.

    ·         The standard size is L for small to medium hands.

    ·         For larger hands, the recommended size is XL.

Keep in mind that bag gloves are worn with boxing hand wraps.

    Maintenance and Tips

    ·         Always use clean boxing hand wraps.

    ·         Do not leave them in a closed space after training; air them out in a cool, dry place.

    ·         Do not use them for power training on the bag or for sparring. For those purposes, use boxing gloves instead.

  • Boxing headgear

    1. IMPORTANCE OF USING BOXING HEADGEAR

Boxing headgear is one of the most important protective items in boxing, martial arts, and contact sports. Its use is mandatory in amateur boxing competitions, and during daily training sessions—especially when working with a partner—it should be considered essential.

    2. ADVANTAGES OF USING BOXING HEADGEAR

    • Protects the head from vibration and direct impact.

    • Protects the teeth, lips, and mouth, minimizing injuries and blows to this area.

    • Protects the cheekbones and jaw.

    • Prevents marks and bruises on the face caused by friction or direct impact from boxing gloves.

    3. TYPES OF BOXING HEADGEAR

    • Cheek protector headgear: These are the most popular boxing headgear models for daily training. They protect the entire skull, cheekbones, and chin but leave the front exposed, meaning the nose is not protected. They are very easy to put on and take off, providing comfort and safety. This type of headgear can also be used for Muay Thai or kickboxing.

    • Bar headgear: Specifically designed for boxing. These are the preferred option when nose protection is a priority. They protect the cheekbones and nose thanks to a protective bar.

    • Full cage headgear: These models are designed for martial arts, MMA, or self-defense systems such as Krav Maga, and in boxing training they are usually used by individuals who want full protection.

    • Open-face boxing headgear: This model is mainly used in competition. It is characterized by protecting only the contour of the head, without cheek or chin protection.

    4. WHICH BOXING HEADGEAR SHOULD I CHOOSE AS A BEGINNER?

At a beginner level, from our specialized boxing and martial arts store, we would recommend cheek protector boxing headgear (either with chin protection or open chin), as it offers the most protection. In terms of visibility, it is very similar to bar headgear and provides better visibility than cage headgear.

    5. FEATURES TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING THE RIGHT BOXING HEADGEAR

    • Manufacturing material: Currently, the best option is premium synthetic leather, as it adapts much better to the head from the very beginning. Genuine leather is more durable over time but does not adapt to the head as easily as synthetic materials and requires more maintenance.

    • Make sure it includes ear protection.

    • Avoid choosing cheap boxing headgear. The main price difference lies in the quality of the internal padding. Ensure it is high quality with good shock absorption.

    • If possible, it is very important that the interior of the boxing headgear features suede leather or a non-slip synthetic material different from the exterior material. This prevents the headgear from moving during training due to sweat.

    6. HOW TO ADJUST BOXING HEADGEAR

Boxing headgear can be adjusted at the back using a wide Velcro strap or two Velcro straps that pass through a loop on the headgear. The latter method ensures a tighter fit.

It is also adjusted at the top through a lace-up system.

Some cheek protector or open-face boxing headgear models include a buckle closure at the chin to ensure maximum adjustment in that area.

    7. SIZES AVAILABLE IN BOXING HEADGEAR

    • One size fits all: This is the most common sizing in boxing headgear, especially in bar and cage models. Cheek protector and open-face headgear in this size adjust very well with the rear Velcro and top lacing.

    • S, M, L, and XL: Some models, such as Leone boxing headgear, offer different sizes that provide a better fit to the head.

    • Dual sizing: S/M and L/XL

  • Jump ropes

IS THE JUMP ROPE IMPORTANT FOR BOXING TRAINING?

The jump rope is an essential piece of equipment that should never be missing from your boxing, MMA, Muay Thai, or self-defense gear. It is perfect for warming up your muscles and preparing your body for exercise before starting your daily training session.

BENEFITS OF USING A JUMP ROPE IN DAILY TRAINING

In addition to its importance as a warm-up tool, regularly using a jump rope in boxing and combat sports training improves overall physical conditioning.

    The main benefits include:

    ·         Burns calories

    ·         Tones and strengthens the entire body, making it a very complete exercise

    ·         Strengthens the heart and greatly benefits the cardiovascular system

    ·         In boxing and combat sports, it helps IMPROVE hand and foot COORDINATION

    ·         Increases endurance by improving aerobic capacity

    ·         Enhances agility and movement speed

    ·         Stimulates brain activity

    TYPES OF JUMP ROPES

    1.      PVC jump rope – This is the most affordable option and the one we recommend for beginners. It is slower than other models, but it’s the best choice for developing rhythm and basic technique.

    2.      Leather jump rope – These models were commonly used in the past, especially in boxing training, but nowadays they are rarely used.

    3.      Steel cable jump rope – These are the fastest types. Very thin versions are often used in functional training exercises, while slightly thicker ones are coated in plastic. We recommend them for intermediate or advanced users with experience training with a jump rope.

RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN BUYING A JUMP ROPE FOR BOXING OR COMBAT SPORTS

    ·         In boxing, athletes often skip rope while wearing hand wraps to save time, so we recommend thin and elongated handles to ensure a comfortable grip.

    ·         It is important that the rope has bearings or a system that prevents it from tangling while spinning.

    ·         Jump ropes usually come in a standard length. To adjust it properly, step on the middle of the rope and lift the handles up so that they are parallel at chest height.

  • Boxing bags
  • Mouthguards

    BENEFITS OF USING A MOUTHGUARD

The best way to protect the inside of your mouth is by using a boxing mouthguard.

    • Protects the teeth

    • Prevents cuts inside the mouth or on the lips

    • Stabilizes the jaw

    • Distributes the vibration from impacts

    • Helps regulate breathing through the nose

WHEN SHOULD A BOXING MOUTHGUARD BE USED?

A mouthguard should be used whenever there is a possibility of contact. It is not only for combat sports and martial arts, but should also be worn in any sport or self-defense training.

In competition, it is mandatory. We also recommend wearing it during training sessions, even when there is no contact.

It is suitable for combat sports, martial arts, and many other sports. We recommend its use both in training and competition.

    TYPES OF MOUTHGUARDS

We can differentiate between two types of boxing mouthguards:

    Single Mouthguards

These are worn on the upper teeth and are the most commonly used.

Single mouthguards can be classified based on how they adapt to the mouth:

    1. Without filling – Made only of a rigid silicone mold.

    2. Gel mouthguard – Made of a rigid silicone mold filled with a solid gel layer that, when heated, allows it to mold to the teeth.

    3. Professional paste mouthguard – Made of a rigid mold and two compounds that, when mixed, form a paste used as filling to mold around the teeth.

    Double Mouthguards

These protect both the upper and lower jaw. They are more uncomfortable during training because they restrict airflow compared to single mouthguards.

WHICH MOUTHGUARD SHOULD I USE: SINGLE OR DOUBLE? ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

The most commonly used type is the single mouthguard. It is more comfortable and allows better breathing. It prevents injuries, and if you choose gel or paste models, they adapt much better to the mouth and allow greater airflow than double mouthguards. These are the ones we recommend for daily training.

As for the double mouthguard, one drawback is that you must keep your mouth closed. It is more uncomfortable and only allows breathing through two small holes, making breathing more difficult as physical effort increases.

Its advantages are that it forces you to keep your mouth closed, stabilizes the jaw, and is recommended for athletes who wear braces, as it protects the lower lip from cuts.

    HOW TO MOLD MOUTHGUARDS

From Club de la lucha, we recommend following the instructions included inside the mouthguard packaging.

However, here are some general recommendations:

    For a Single Mouthguard

    • Place the mouthguard in boiling water for 30 seconds.

    • Remove it from the pot (do not use a microwave; always heat water on a stovetop).

    • Dip it for one second in a glass of room-temperature water prepared beforehand.

    • Place it in your mouth, bite down firmly, and press with your fingers so it adapts to your teeth.

    • Keep your mouth closed for one minute.

    • Remove carefully and let it cool.

    For a Gel Mouthguard

    • Place the mouthguard in boiling water for 30 seconds.

    • Remove it from the pot (do not use a microwave; always heat water on a stovetop).

    • Dip it for one second in a glass of room-temperature water prepared beforehand.

    • Place it in your mouth, bite NATURALLY WITHOUT CLENCHING TOO HARD, and keep your mouth closed for one minute without touching it.

    • Remove carefully and let it cool.

    Paste Mouthguard

    FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED.

    Double Mouthguard

Do not mold if it is going to be used with braces.

    IS THERE A CHILDREN’S MOUTHGUARD?

Yes, and at Club de la lucha, we recommend it not only for martial arts or combat sport competitions, but also for any type of training, as it is one of the most important protective items in boxing and combat sports.

    MAINTENANCE

    • Rinse and dry thoroughly after training before storing.

    • Always store it in its case.

    • Keep it in the same place inside your sports bag or boxing backpack.

    • If using it for competition, choose white or transparent.

    • Occasionally rinse with a mixture of water and mouthwash.

  • Boxing Groin Guards

The boxing groin guard is one of the most important — and at the same time most underrated — pieces of protective equipment when training in boxing. In amateur competition, it is mandatory.

    TYPES OF GROIN GUARDS

    • Professional boxing groin guard – specifically designed for competition, it is more bulky and padded. In addition to protecting the genital area, it also protects the abdominal area and the sides.

    • Basic plastic groin guard with jockstrap – can be used for boxing training but is not valid for competition.

    • Semi-professional groin guard – similar to the basic groin guard but made from more durable material, with padded edges and high-quality elastic bands to secure it around the waist.

    WOMEN’S GROIN GUARDS

Women must use specific female groin guards that are different from men’s. These protectors are designed to adapt to the female anatomy.

    KID’S BOXING EQUIPMENT

When training, children need the same protective gear as adults, but adapted to their weight and size.

WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT BOXING PROTECTIONS FOR CHILDREN DURING TRAINING?

Children’s boxing gloves – for hand protection. These gloves can come in 4, 6, or 8 oz.
Children’s mouthguard – for mouth and lip protection.
Children’s boxing wraps – to support and secure the wrists. The recommended length is 2.5 meters. For very young children, we do not recommend their use.

    IMPORTANCE OF USING CHILDREN’S EQUIPMENT

    • Prevents unnecessary injuries
    • Increases confidence during training
    • Encourages habits of organization and discipline

  • Boxing hand wraps

USE OF BOXING HAND WRAPS IN BOXING

In boxing gear, hand wraps are the only protection between the boxing glove and our hands. We strongly recommend their mandatory use in daily training, bag work, pad work, and competition.

They help prevent finger injuries, wrist sprains, and friction that can cause minor burns on the hands.
Another important function is to compact the hand and provide support to the fingers and wrist at the moment of impact.
The least known function is absorbing sweat during training, helping to protect the inside of your gloves.

Which Boxing Hand Wraps Should I Buy?

At Club de la Lucha, you can find a wide range of hand wraps for both children and adults, affordable boxing wraps, and wraps with eye-catching designs. Protecting your hands with wraps is essential, but you also need a good pair of boxing gloves to guarantee your protection and the safety of your training partners.

HOW BOXING HAND WRAPS ARE CLASSIFIED

    By Length

You can find boxing hand wraps in different sizes:

    • 2.5 meters (children)

    • 3.5 meters (women, experienced children, or youth)

    • 4 meters (experienced women, lightweight men, or youth)

    • 4.5 meters or 5 meters (adult men or experienced women)

    By Material

Cotton boxing wraps – Very rigid; they are rarely used nowadays.

Elastic boxing wraps – Popular among some users, but in our opinion, although they adapt well to the hand, you must know how to wrap them properly to avoid cutting off circulation.

Semi-elastic boxing wraps – From our specialized online boxing store, these are the ones we recommend. They offer a balance between rigidity and adaptability, providing a greater feeling of security and comfort.

    TIPS AND MAINTENANCE

    • Never wash them in a washing machine. It’s better to wash them by hand in a container using mild soap.

    • Wash your boxing wraps every day they are used.

    • Do not leave them in a closed space after training.

    • Do not put them in the dryer, as this will deform them. Let them air dry.

    • How to roll boxing wraps? At Club de la Lucha, we recommend starting from the end with the thumb loop and rolling them with one hand while the other hand keeps the wrap stretched to apply slight tension and make the process easier. This prevents deformation and extends their lifespan.

    • Always use them during any striking training sessions.

    • WE DO NOT RECOMMEND REPLACING BOXING WRAPS WITH KNUCKLE PROTECTORS (also known as gel wraps).

WHAT IS THE BEST EQUIPMENT OPTION TO START TRAINING IN BOXING?

Boxing is a contact sport that requires specific, high-quality equipment. Not just any type of protective gear will do for boxing. At Club de la Lucha, we always recommend boxing equipment specifically designed to prevent injuries and optimize training.

To guarantee the quality of our products, we are an official retailer of some of the best brands related to combat sports equipment.

WHAT SHOULD I BUY FIRST TO TRAIN IN BOXING?

The three essential items you should buy first if you are starting from scratch are boxing gloves, hand wraps, and a mouthguard.

WHAT QUALITY OF BOXING GLOVES SHOULD I CHOOSE AS A BEGINNER?

When starting out, you should look for a good balance between quality and price. You don’t need competition-level or mid/high-range boxing gloves, as they are not necessary at this stage. However, you should also avoid very cheap gloves that do not provide proper protection and may lose their effectiveness quickly.

WHAT OUNCE SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

There is a common misconception that hand size is the most important factor when selecting glove ounces. This is not true. The main factor when choosing the ounce size of your first gloves is the body weight of the person who will use them and the type of training they will be doing.

In the more detailed link provided, you can find more specific information about boxing gloves.

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE FOR HAND WRAPS?

Boxing hand wraps differ mainly in two key aspects:

• Length: This is the main factor to consider. For an average-weight adult, we recommend 5 meters. For youth or women with smaller wrists, we recommend 3.5 meters. For children, 2.5 meters is recommended.
• Fabric composition (polyester and cotton ratio): This determines whether the wraps are rigid, elastic, or semi-elastic. At Club de la Lucha, we recommend semi-elastic wraps because they adapt better to the wrists and hands.

WHAT MOUTHGUARD IS RECOMMENDED FOR BOXING?

Without a doubt, a single mouthguard is the best option. In fact, we only recommend a double mouthguard when the person using it has braces.

BOXING TRAINING EQUIPMENT THAT IS NECESSARY BUT NOT A PRIORITY AT THE BEGINNING

• Headgear – Very important protection, but not a priority when you first start. It becomes essential when you begin contact training or sparring.
• Boxing boots – Necessary once you reach an intermediate level; they help optimize training and improve movement.
• Groin guard – Mainly used in competition.
